Commissioner Tony Dagnone released the results of Saskatchewan's Patient First Review on October 15, 2009. His report calls for changes to how patients experience the health system, how health services are delivered, and how the system is administered.
In June 2015, the Saskatchewan government released a report that provides an update on the significant progress made in response to the Patient First Review recommendations. The update includes high-level and detailed descriptions of activities underway across the health system to put patients first, and the resulting improvements in health services. It also outlines some possible options for finding efficiencies in the health system and providing more choices for patients.
